Reminiscing colonial British yet keeping times with the younger generation, The Kluang Rail Coffee promotes the uniqueness of Kluang. Adapting features of cafes from a bygone era, the coffee shop is a feast to the eye and minds, as the restaurant is made from recycled materials from the old Kluang railway station, in additional to materials sourced from only local Kluang manufacturers.
A truly unique restaurant.
Since 1938, countless rail travelers at the Kluang Railway Station and regular customers of Kluang RailCoffee outlets have been satisfied with their great coffee and local food. Kluang RailCoffee is so well known for its quality coffee that a stopover at any of its outlets is probably one of the must-do items for visitors to Kluang.
Coffee, half-boiled eggs and toasted bread… this has been the staple of passengers who alighted and waited to board the trains at the railway station. The Cofee Shop Canteen has been operating at the same venue since 1938 and is currently run by the third generation of the Lim family that started the business. Don’t forget to take a walk around this quaint station.
